Lauren is a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and a passionate advocate. What sets her apart is her willingness to speak up and take action. She truly cares, and she will always put the people of Aurora first.

Lauren and I met when she kindly spoke at the International Day of Peace event. She gave a thoughtful talk on how peace can begin at the individual level and extend into the wider community, sharing examples of how she puts this into practice. Since then, I’ve seen Lauren in action, and her commitment goes far beyond words. She is truly grounded in the community, going the extra mile to build genuine connection. She has a unique ability to bridge gaps in our community. I strongly believe Lauren will make an amazing Councillor. She is a modern problem solver who understands what our community needs.

She’s incredibly connected within the community, but what really stands out is how genuine and authentic she is in everything she does. You can tell how committed and invested she is in the people, the community, and the future of Aurora.

Lauren is one of the most thoughtful and community-driven people I’ve had the privilege to work with, especially through our time building Awaken Aurora events together. She has a natural ability to bring people together in a way that feels inclusive, intentional and genuinely supportive, while also creating platforms that shine a light on everything happening in our community.

Lauren Hanna is a loving mother and a caring, clear thinking professional. Her knowledge of and commitment to her community and Aurora are abundantly clear. Her extensive experience working for the Ontario government will serve her well as a town councillor.

I’ve known Lauren since we worked together at the Ontario Legislature over 15 years ago. She is smart, dependable, compassionate, competent, thoughtful, sociable, cooperative, dedicated and principled. Lauren is going into politics for the right reasons — to serve her community and improve people’s lives. We need more people like her running for office and representing us at every level of government.

As a local business and residents of Aurora, a community leader who genuinely cares to make a difference and use their voice for positive change is so important to us and Lauren Hanna is that. We have all the faith that she will accomplish that, and more.

I had the privilege of working closely with Lauren on a community initiative to revitalize our local park, and can say with complete confidence she embodies the very qualities one hopes to see in a member of town council. Throughout the project, Lauren demonstrated exceptional leadership, not through force, but through her ability to truly listen. She approached every conversation with openness and respect, ensuring that all voices—regardless of perspective—were heard and considered. In moments where opinions differed, she brought a calm, thoughtful presence that helped bridge divides and guide us toward solutions that felt fair and balanced for everyone involved. You care deeply about this community and have the judgment and work ethic to make thoughtful, practical decisions. I have no doubt you’ll be a strong, approachable councillor who gets things done.

I’ve known Lauren since we were both interns at Queen’s Park – and it was already evident then – through her commitment to community, her thoughtfulness, and dependability – that she is exactly the type of person we should be electing into public office. In it for the right reasons and with the right approach, I look forward to supporting her this election.
